SONA Architecture Students’ Design Competition – 2014

SONA Committee of Architecture Education announces the ” SONA Architecture Students’ Design Competition – 2014″.

Topic:- Nepal Tourist Center

Eligibility:- Architecture students of Third and Fourth year

First Announcement of SONA Architecture Students’ Design Competition-2014 = 21st May 2014 Wednesday

Last date of Submission: 1st July 2014 (Ashad 17, 2071) 5pm.

Note:- Architecture colleges are free to announce to their students SONA Architecture Students’ Design Competition for 3rd and 4th year students. Drawings will be submitted to the respective Architecture Department HOD’s and each college will decide which student submissions to send to SONA. All drawings must be received at the SONA office by 5:00 P.M on 8th July, 2014 (Asar 24th, 2071).

“Selected designs will be exhibited in the SONA Exhibition”

AWARDS:

FIRST PRIZE – Rs. 25,000 with Certificate

SECOND PRIZE – Rs. 15,000 with Certificate

THIRD PRIZE – Rs. 10,000 with Certificate

Two Consolation Prizes:- Rs. 5,000 each

Second Position: Sandip Puri, Institute of Engineering (Rs. 15,000 and Certificate)
Third Position: Sujan Shrestha, Nepal Engineering College (Rs. 10,000 and Certificate)
 Consolation Prize: Asmita Dahal, Nepal Engineering College (Rs. 5,000 and Certificate)
Consolation Prize: Sanjay Neupane, Kathmandu Engineering College (Rs.5000 and Certificate)
The work of the students listed above will be displayed during the SONA Exhibition (Month of September) and they will be invited formally to the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of SONA for collecting their respective prizes.
